MEDICAMENTS BIOSIMILAIRES

Abstract

Le médicament biosimilaire correspond à un médicament biologique déclaré comme similaire à un médicament biologique de référence et dont le plan de développement inclut des études de comparaison par rapport à la référence, afin de confirmer la similarité du produit au niveau de qualité, d’efficacité et de sécurité dont l’immunogénicité. Les biosimilaires sont différents des génériques, tant par leur complexité moléculaire que par leur réglementation. Ils représentent des enjeux économiques considérables avec l’expiration dans les prochaines années des brevets de nombreux biomédicaments couvrant des aires thérapeutiques majeures comme les thrombopathies qui repose principalement sur le traitement par l'enoxaparine qui est commercialisé en Algérie sous la forme de référence LOVENOX et son biosimilaire VARENOX. Dans notre étude, on a essayé de faire une étude comparative de l'effet pharmacodynamique de ces deux produits pour s'assurer des propriétés revendiqués en termes d'efficacité. البديل الحيوي هو منتج بيولوجي يعلن انه مشابه لمنتج طبي بيولوجي مرجعي وتتضمن خطة تطويره دراسات مقارنة مع المرجع من اجل تأكيد تشابه المنتج من حيث الجودة والفعالية والأمان بما في ذلك الاستمناع. تختلف البدائل الحيوية عن الادوية الجنيسة من حيث تعقيدها الجزيئي وتنظيمها. انها تمثل حصصا اقتصادية كبيرة مع انتهاء صلاحية براءات الاختراع في السنوات القليلة القادمة على العديد من الادوية الحيوية التي تغطي المجالات العلاجية الرئيسية مثل اعتلالات الخثرات والتي تعتمد بشكل أساسي على العلاج بواسطة اينوكسابارين الذي يتم تسويقه في الجزائر في شكل مرجعي فارينوكس وبديله الحيوي لوفينوكس. حاولنا في دراستنا اجراء دراسة مقارنة للتأثير الديناميكي الدوائي لهذين المنتجين لضمان الخصائص المطالب بها من حيث الفعالية. A biosimilar is a biological medicinal product that is declared to be similar to a reference biological medicinal product and whose development plan includes comparison studies with the reference in order to confirm the similarity of the product in terms of quality, efficacy and safety, including immunogenicity. Biosimilars are different from generics, both in terms of their molecular complexity and their regulation. They represent considerable economic stakes with the expiry in the next few years of patents on biomedicines covering major therapeutic areas such as thrombopathies, which is based mainly on the treatment by enoxaparin, marketed in Algeria in the reference form LOVENOX and its biosimilar VARENOX. In our study we tried to make a comparative study of the pharmacodynamic effect of these two products to ensure the properties claimed in terms of effectiveness.
