Abstract:
Ecotourism is considered as symbolic of what is meant by sustainable development by
combining economic, ecological and social dimensions.
Our study focuses on ecotourism as an alternative urban project of the great Bardo the Urban
Park Bardo in Constantine. In the framework of urban project and governance in Master II
urban planning. This Bardo Park is a place of rest and tranquility and it is an essential element
considered the green apple of the city of Constantine and it has a strategic location ‘In the city
center, but it suffers from some problems such as: lack of attractiveness and it does not meet
the needs of tourists and the great imbalance between the different parts East and West and
the lack of bridges to pass from one side to the other
My speech aims to concretize ecotourism as a solution for this park and for the whole city of
Constantine (economic/ cultural/ environmental and not forgetting leisure and sport)
And for this I proposed Tourist Axis in Bardo Park with a tourist guide by means of transport
and create a panoramic lift and bus shelter to facilitate traffic in the park and even make a
connection between this park and the other part of the city
Also create an amusement park a sales and area of rose water and water of orange flowers
and also create a library (for the economic and cultural side)
All this to meet the needs of the inhabitants of the city and the tourists who visit this park and
make it a true place of polarization that commonly respond to an ecotourism and favorably
support the economic development of the city of Constantine
