Abstract

Abstract Treatment of the totally edentulous is one of the first challenges of implant logy. We are now able to rehabilitate virtually all patients with Fresh Start treatment options available to them. It is the All-ON-4 concept that is an integral part of these options. The All-ON-4 treatment concept which means “all” (all) the dentition supported “on four” (out of four) implants. It is a technique studied and improved by Dr. Paulo Malo since 1993. It was technical to do better with four implants: 2 inclined distal ones, to avoid the posterior zones generally deficient in bone volume; and 2 vertical anterior implants, with immediate function is applicable, without grafting, with average and even low bone volume and reasonable post-operative results. The advantages are: -Treatment without resorting to lengthy bone grafting and Sinus lift protocols. -High success rate.
