dc.description.abstract Abstract Abstract The objective of this study is devoted to the elimination of a dye « Black Eriochrome T » from a synthetic solution by electrochemical way, in particular electrocoagulation using aluminum electrodes. Different experimental parameters have been analyzed by this technique are : the initial pH, the distance between the electrodes, the intensity of the current, the salinity (using the NaCl conductor) and the dye concentration. The results obtained made it possible to obtain a discoloration rate of up to 95.23% for an initial pH equal to 7.08, an electrolysis time corresponding to 60 minutes and an imposed current equal to 0.1 A, a distance of 1 cm, concentration dye of 20 mg/L and an amount of NaCl of 3 g/L. For all these operating conditions, the optimal value of the mass of the dissolved metal is 0.033 g and that of the energy consumed in this treatment is 0.065 kWh/m³. en_US
