Abstract

Abstract: Due To The Rapid Growth In Population And The Reoccurring Developments In Both The Industrial As Well As The Medical Technology Domains, The Threat On Humans And Their Environment Has Reached An All-Time High. This Aforementioned Threat Has Been Caused By The Appearance Of Different Types Of Wastes That Polluted The Breathable Air, Among These Types Of Wastes Are The Wastes Produced As A Result Of The Activities Carried By Health Care Establishments. There Are Several Opinions Concerning The Process Of Eliminating The Previously Mentioned Wastes, Yet We Have Decided To Favor Incineration In This Work. In Order To Carry Out This Study, We Have Used The Following Research Techniques, The Direct Observation, The Questionnaire, The Interview, The Weighing, And The Analysis Done On Documents Collected From 13 Healthcare Establishments Located In The Wilaya Of Mila. The Results Show That The Management Of Wastes Left Behind By The Activities Of Healthcare Institutions At The Level Of The Aforementioned Establishments Is Acceptable; This Includes Collection, Conditioning, Storage, Etc..., With A Total Absence Of Disinfection Devices. This Absence Hints That Having An Incineration Center For The Wastes Left Behind By The Activities Of Healthcare Establishments Is Extremely Important, For It Not Only Provides Us With A Source Of Electrical And Thermal Energy As A Result Of The Process Of Combustion, But It Also Aides Us In Keeping A Green And Healthy Environment.
