dc.description.abstract Algeria is a country with a strategic position in the North Africa region, a key focus of Algeria‘s foreign policy. This enabled Algeria to play a regional role in promoting stability in the region. On the other hand, this reflected the nature of Algeria‘s relations, which affected the course of its relations, specifically US-Algeria relations following the Algerian Hirak movement in 2019. This study aims to provide an analysis of the regional role of Algeria in North Africa and its impact on American-Algerian relations through the answer to the following research question: How does Algeria's role in North Africa influence its bilateral relations with the United States?
