Projet de création d'un jardin botanique des plantes médicinales

Abstract

A b s t r a c t : A Botanical Garden is a garden dedicated to the collection, cultivation and display of a wide range of plants labeled with their botanical taxa and vernacular names. Botanical gardens play an essential role as scientific and educational institutions for the discovery of medicinal plants, the preservation of biodiversity and awareness of the sustainable management of natural resources. In this context, we have taken the initiative to maintain, develop and improve the botanical garden located within our Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine at University Constantine 3. This botanical garden will be a place of scientific research, preservation and transmission of knowledge on medicinal plant heritage. It will house a collection of carefully documented medicinal plants, accompanied by detailed monographs for each of them. This initiative aims to fill the lack of university botanical gardens in Algeria and strengthen our commitment to pharmacy research and education. We hope that this botanical garden will provide a suitable environment for students and researchers to study and understand medicinal plants, as well as to preserve biodiversity and try to raise awareness about the importance of medicinal plants in the field of pharmacy. مـلــخـص : الحديقة النباتية هي حديقة مخصصة لجمع وزراعة وعرض مجموعة واسعة من النباتات المصنفة بأصنافها النباتية وأسمائها العامية. ا كمؤسسات علمية وتعليمية لاكتشاف النباتات ً ا أساسي ً تلعب الحدائق النباتية دور الطبية والحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي والوعي بالإدارة المستدامة للموارد الطبيعية. وفي هذا السياق، قمنا بمبادرة صيانة وتطوير وتحسين الحديقة النباتية الموجودة داخل قسم الصيدلة كلية الطب بجامعة قسنطينة 3. ً ا للبحث العلمي وحفظ ونقل المعرفة حول تراث ستكون هذه الحديقة النباتية مكان النباتات الطبية. وسيضم مجموعة من النباتات الطبية الموثقة بعناية، مصحوبة بدراسات تفصيلية لكل منها. تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى سد النقص في الحدائق النباتية الجامعية في الجزائر وتعزيز التزامنا بالبحث والتعليم الصيدلي. ونأمل أن توفر هذه الحديقة النباتية بيئة مناسبة للطلاب والباحثين لدراسة وفهم النباتات الطبية، وكذلك الحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي ومحاولة رفع الوعي حول أهمية النباتات الطبية في مجال الصيدلة. R É S U M É Un Jardin botanique est un jardin dédié à la collecte, la culture et la présentation d’une large gamme de plantes étiquettes avec leur taxons botanique et noms vernaculaires. Les jardins botaniques jouent un rôle essentiel en tant qu'institutions scientifiques et éducatives pour la découverte des plantes médicinales, la préservation de la biodiversité et la sensibilisation à la gestion durable des ressources naturelles. Dans ce contexte, nous avons pris l'initiative d'entretenir, de développer et d'améliorer le jardin botanique situé au sein de notre Département de Pharmacie, Faculté de Médecine à l'Université Constantine 3. Ce jardin botanique sera un lieu de recherche scientifique, de préservation et transmission des connaissances sur le patrimoine végétal médicinal. Il abritera une collection de plantes médicinales soigneusement documentées, accompagnées de monographies détaillées pour chacune d'entre elles. Cette initiative vise à combler le manque de jardins botaniques universitaires en Algérie et à renforcer notre engagement en matière de recherche et d'éducation en pharmacie. Nous espérons que ce jardin botanique offrira un environnement approprié aux étudiants et aux chercheurs pour étudier et comprendre les plantes médicinales, ainsi que pour préserver la biodiversité et tenter de sensibiliser à l'importance des plantes médicinales dans le domaine de la pharmacie
