dc.description.abstract The dyes present in industrial wastewater pose a significant danger to the environment and human health due to their stability and low biodegradability. This study aims to utilize new ceramic membranes developed at the laboratory (LIPE). Two types of membranes were used in this study, UF and MF, for test their effectiveness and validity in retaining and eliminating organic pollutants such as azucryl red and other dyes contained in industrial wastewater. This study aims to explore the influence of different parameters on the performance of membrane, including transmembrane pressure (TMP), initial concentration, and pH of the colored solution. The results show notable efficiency and high yields for all experiments conducted, reaching values exceeding 95% under optimal conditions. The comparative study between ultrafiltration (UF) and microfiltration (MF) shows that both processes are effective, but ultrafiltration demonstrates its superiority in dye removal. The results suggest that the membranes developed and tested in this study are highly effective for treating various food and textile wastewater, which is essential for contributing to the reduction of environmental pollution. It is important to note that there are numerous prospects for improvement and optimization, and the results of this study can serve as a basis for future en_US
