dc.description.abstract The elimination of organic dyes represents one of the main problems in the wastewater treatment process. Photocatalysis in the presence of semiconductor powders and thin layers is gradually emerging as a promising alternative for the elimination of these soluble organic compounds. The use of this technique leads to the complete mineralization of these pollutants. In this study, we studied the photo-degradation of dyes (RC, RB and VM) under solar irradiation using the semiconductors “SrTiO3-δ, TiO2 and thin films” as a function of pH and the optimal dose of semiconductors. The best results are obtained with SrTiO3-δ synthesized by the nitrate route and which was identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and infrared, the optimal dose found is 1g/L with an acidic pH. en_US
