| dc.description.abstract | This study reports the development of sustainable and novel bioplastics from waste frying oils (bio-epoxide, bio-polyol) and their integration into smart packaging systems. Key synthesis parameters (solvents, catalysts, plasticizers) were varied to tune mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties. Colorimetric indicators for pH, humidity, and temperature were successfully embedded. The resulting adhesives, elastomers, and films demonstrate high adaptability, offering eco-friendly and functional packaging for food and pharmaceutical sectors, with waste valorization and enhanced safety | en_US |
