    Agénésies dentaires : formes syndromiques, non syndromiques et modalités thérapeutiques

    RESUME L’agénésie dentaire est une malformation congénitale caractérisée par l’absence d’une ou plusieurs dents temporaires et/ou permanentes, on distingue l’hypodontie, l’oligodontie et l’anodontie. Cette anomalie est multifactorielle impliquant des facteurs génétiques et environnementaux et les répercussions sont notables esthétiques, fonctionnelles et psychologiques. L’agénésie dentaire peut être isolée ou associée à des syndromes. Le diagnostic repose sur un examen clinique et radiologique, tandis que la prise en charge est multidisciplinaire, allant de l’abstention à l’orthodontie, la prothèse, l’implantologie et la chirurgie orale, et nécessitant parfois la collaboration des autres spécialistes médicaux dans le cadre syndromique. الملخص الغياب الخلقي للأسنان هو تشوّه خلقي يتمثّل في غياب سن أو عدة أسنان مؤقّتة كانت أو دائمة. يتم تصنيف هذه الحالة إلى ثلاثة أنواع: نقص عدد الأسنان، قلّة عدد الأسنان، وانعدام الأسنان الكامل. تعد هذه الحالة متعددة العوامل، إذ تتدخل فيها العوامل الوراثية والجانبية. ولها تأثيرات واضحة من الناحية التجميلية والوظيفية والنّفسية. قد يكون الغياب الخلقي للأسنان حالة معزولة أو مرتبطة بمتلازمات معيّنة. يعتمد التّشخيص على الفحص السّريري والتصوير الإشعاعي، أمّا المعالجة فتتطلب تدخل عدّة تخصصات ويشمل العلاج خيارات متعدّدة : كالامتناع عن العلاج، العلاج التقويمي، تركيب الأسنان، زراعة الأسنان أو جراحة الفم، وقد يتطلب أحيانا تعاونا مع تخصصات طبية اخرى خاصة في الحالات المرتبطة بمتلازمات ABSTRACT Dental agenesis is a congenital malformation characterized by the absence of one or more primary or permanent teeth, it includes hypodontia, oligodontia and anodontia. This anomaly is multifactorial, involving both genetic and environmental factors, and its repercussions are significant affecting aesthetics, function and psychological well-being. Dental agenesis may occur in isolation or be associated with syndromes. The diagnosis is based on clinical and radiological examination, while management is multidisciplinary, treatment options range from no intervention to orthodontics, prosthetics, implontology and oral surgery and may sometimes require collaboration with other medical specialists in syndromic cases.
