dc.description.abstract | This research intends to take use of one of the world's largest pollutants, food waste. It also emphasizes the significant potential and prospective future of biofertilizer activity in the development of sustainable agricultural systems, as well as the protection of human health from diseases caused by chemical compounds. As a result, by experimenting with three types of solid waste from the food sector, namely banana peels, eggshells, and wheat bran, the study aims to explore and study their impact on three types of soil in the wilaya of Constantine, which were obtained from three separate locations of agricultural lands, each with a different source of irrigation. It was important to compare the performance of the biomaterials utilized with the commercial chemical fertilizers already in use on the fertility of each type of soil in order to better understand and evaluate their performance. Finally, based on our research, we can say that the three wastes from the food sector are a significant source of nutrients for agricultural soils and can be exploited as biofertilizers | en_US |
