Abstract: In fluid mechanics, particularly in applied hydraulics, the pump is one of the essential elements. The pump solves the problem of the energy required for transporting fluids and transmitting power. Each category of pump has certain advantages and disadvantages, but overall, centrifugal pumps are more frequently found in industrial applications. When choosing a pump for an installation, it is necessary to size it using concepts such as total head (HMT), power, and pump efficiency. However, sometimes a single pump is not sufficient for the need, so it is possible to couple two or more pumps either in series or in parallel, depending on the type of requirement. In this report, we conducted a series of experiments at SEACO on the coupling of two single- stage pumps in parallel and concluded the following points:  All issues of pump malfunction due to cavitation phenomena.  The hydraulic study allowed us to discover the operation of centrifugal pumps through a concrete example. We thus explored a new field of fluid mechanics that was unknown to us despite using known formulas (such as Bernoulli's theorem). The results obtained show the reliability of parallel pump assembly.
