The elimination of organic dyes represents one of the main problems in the wastewater treatment process. Photocatalysis in the presence of semiconductor powders and thin layers is gradually emerging as a promising alternative for the elimination of these soluble organic compounds. The use of this technique leads to the complete mineralization of these pollutants. In this study, we studied the photo-degradation of dyes (RC, RB and VM) under solar irradiation using the semiconductors “SrTiO3-δ, TiO2 and thin films” as a function of pH and the optimal dose of semiconductors. The best results are obtained with SrTiO3-δ synthesized by the nitrate route and which was identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and infrared, the optimal dose found is 1g/L with an acidic pH.en_US
