This work aims to develop a natural mouthwash based on medicinal plants with known antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Extracts were obtained using aqueous and hydroethanolic maceration. Physicochemical analyses revealed a high polyphenol content (34.68 mg GAE/g DW for the aqueous extract and 73.61 mg GAE/g DW for the hydroethanolic extract). Antioxidant activity, evaluated through IC₅₀ values, demonstrated strong efficacy (88 μg/mL and 67 μg/mL, respectively). Biological tests confirmed significant inhibition of bacteria responsible for oral diseases. The final mouthwash showed acceptable organoleptic and physic chemical properties. Results indicate strong therapeutic and preventive potential. This product could offer a natural and safe alternative to conventional mouthwashes. Further studies are needed to validate its clinical effectivenessen_US
