Abstract: This study focused on the development of bioplastic films based on natural polymers and functional additives. The research highlighted the influence of xanthan gum content on the mechanical, physical, functional, and environmental properties of the films. Results showed that a precise balance of components can enhance resistance, flexibility, permeability, and biodegradability in different environments. Formulations incorporating plant-based residues and mineral additives demonstrated performances suitable for biodegradable packaging needs. The formulation approach explored in this work supports the development of sustainable materials
