Quand parle-t-on d’échec implantaire ? Abstract Since the emergence of Professor Brånemark's principle of osteo-integration , oral implantology has genuinely developed. This discipline is therefore an integral part of the therapeutic arsenal. Increasingly, edentulous patients are using implants. Therefore, the probability for a practitioner to be faced with an implant failure is increasingly possible even if the Protocol is complied In addition to the risks inherent in the surgical phase, the treatment exposes the patient to a risk of failure. The dental surgeon may be confronted with different types of failures: bacterial, biological, aesthetic, mechanical and functional. He should be able to detect an implant failure, treat it and prevent it. What are these failures due to? How to manage them? When are we talking about implant failure? How can the dentist avoid them? This thesis aims to help the implantologist to recognize an implant failure, how to face it and avoid it thereafter.en_US
