Abstract: Brodie's syndrome is a rare transverse anomaly defined by an exaggerated occlusion of the upper lateral sectors where the contact is established between the palatal faces of the maxillary teeth and the vestibular faces of the mandibular teeth. It has three forms: bilateral, unilateral, or localized to a single tooth. The main objective of our study is to present this malocclusion, its impact on the tissues of the oral cavity, its etiologies and to differentiate the scissor bite locally and generally from other syndromes by a detailed and personalized study of all the craniofacial skeletal constituents as well as the management according to an adequate protocol based on maxillary contraction and mandibular widening by orthopedic, orthodontic, and orthodontic-surgical means depending on the case.en_US
