dc.description.abstract | Cette étude transversale a pour objectif d'évaluer la prévalence de l'automédication, del'intention à la toxicomanie et de la prescription médicamenteuse chez 639 étudiantsenmédecine de Constantine. Les résultats révèlent des taux élevés de ces pratiques, notamment chez les étudiants avancés et ceux issus des départements de pharmacie et de médecinedentaire. L'automédication est particulièrement fréquente (86,4%), tout comme la prescriptionmédicamenteuse (82,2%). De plus, 40,6% des étudiants ont exprimé une intentionàlatoxicomanie. Ces données soulignent l'importance de développer des interventions cibléespour prévenir ces comportements à risque chez les futurs professionnels de la santé. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of self-medication, intention to use drugs, andprescription drug use among medical students at the University of Constantine. Across-sectional survey was conducted on 639 students. Results showed high rates of self-medication(86.4%), particularly among pharmacy students and upper-year levels. Intention to usedrugsaffected 40.6% of students, with higher rates in specific student groups. Prescriptiondrugusewas prevalent (82.2%), increasing with academic progression.
