Abstract: The aim of this work is the formulation of an anti-inflammatory oleogel against joint and muscle pain based on the extract of thapsia garganica obtained by maceration with olive oil. The extract has undergone several in vitro tests to evaluate its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and even worm toxicity tests. The basis of the study is the elimination of toxicity by olive oil whose quality indicators have been studied. This elimination was proven by an in vivo test. The preliminary step of the work was the formulation of an anti-inflammatory oléogel based on Thapsia Garganica extract with olive oil and some other ingredients and the quality control of the following parameters: pH, viscosity, and microscopic analysis and stability properties. And to ensure the therapeutic effect, an in vivo anti-inflammatory test was carried out on mice. Where the results show that this gel-formulated plant has an anti-inflammatory effect.
