Abstract: Algeria has been committed since the 2000s to significantly improving its environmental management, particularly by strengthening its infrastructure for waste collection, sorting, and treatment. Despite these efforts, there are persistent shortcomings that require enhanced resources to ensure a successful environmental transition. A new innovative method for waste treatment has emerged as an alternative to traditional polluting methods such as landfilling and incineration. This method transforms waste like plaster, plastics, and wood into mineral paste, thereby sequestering CO2 rather than releasing it into the atmosphere. The mineral aggregates produced can be reused in construction, promoting circular economy practices and reducing the environmental footprint of waste management and construction activities. This approach not only addresses current ecological challenges but also opens new perspectives for sustainable resource valorization in Algeria
