This study focused on the treatment of colored wastewater using electrocoagulation, with an emphasis on the innovative use of perforated electrodes. Experimental results demonstrated excellent decolorization efficiency, reaching 99.41% for a synthetic Congo Red solution and 96% for actual textile effluent. The influence of operational parameters was significant, leading to optimized treatment conditions. The use of perforated electrodes enhanced electrolyte flow, reduced electrode passivation, lowered energy consumption, and minimized sludge generation. Moreover, the applied statistical models validated the experimental outcomes, with R² values exceeding 97%. These findings highlight the promising industrial potential of this improved electrocoagulation process.en_US
