The Rhesus blood group system is one of the most polymorphic and immunogenic blood systems known to man. The D antigen is the most immunogenic. When there is a quantitative or qualitative deficiency in the D antigen, it can form the weak RhD variant and the partial RhD variant, hence the theme of our work, which consists in serologically and, if possible, genotypically screening for RHD variants in the obstetric population at the CHUC and investigating possible anti-D alloimmunization in women presenting these variants. Results: 86% RH negative, 14% RH positive; there are 9% RH discordances in our population, among RH negative 9.09% Dµ positive; the striking phenotypes are ddCCee Kell negative (3%), ddCcee Kell negative (3%), ddCcEe Kell negative (1.5%) and ddCcEe Kell positive with a percentage of (1.5%).en_US
